Unperfekthaus in Essen

Delicious food, good service, good staff, warm atmosphere. A good restaurant in two words. I really liked it.

A visit is always worthwhile. You can look over the shoulder of an artist and get active yourself. The buffet is very tasty, we were there with 18 people, everyone was thrilled.

A really great idea! For the price, the food is really good and tasty. The selection of drinks is "interesting", but something different than just cola and lemonade. One or the other room is a bit worn, but overall the decor is fine.

It seems to be a special place where to eat and/or to drink something very good and to see some artists at work - a pleasant hub for all those who want to have good moments because they love the arts! A great atmosphere, some friendly people, a polite and able staff, a large variety of plates, tea, and coffee, other beverages and so on… It is a great building with a nighty design, in the vicinity of another architectonic jewel, the Limbecker Platz, a postmodern shell who is, in a good way, a great and appropriate neighbor for the Unperfekthouse – as you may discover in the pictures of both objectives…

An old monastery full of creative people. Drinks included in the entrance. Canteen with good prices and good food. What more do you want?

You need to pay 8euro entrance fee in order to use the Bitcoin ATM(on which you also pay a fee). Thats not what crypotcurrencies are all about. Two stars because one of the people who worked there was very helpful to me.

What an interesting place. The concept of Unperfekthaus is amazing. I was there recently to hang up on a private birthday. I am amazed by the many possibilities of the house. No matter whether meeting rooms, workingspaces, the restaurant ... there is generally a lot to see in the rooms. I'm excited! I would love to have a party on the roof terrace.

I can only recommend the place. during the week you can learn well as a student or rent a room as a group. The house is full on weekends. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and artistic. You have to see the workshops, works of art and the roof terrace (with a beautiful view) as well as the marble run.

A unique concept for meetings, great buffet food, with soda fountain and coffee all for 1 Price.

We were often here for work and I find the house very refreshingly different from the creative environment for meetings. The food offer is also very good with all meals. Something repeats itself, but if you are not there for several days in a row, you will not notice it. I cannot rate the connected hotel.

A fantastic place full of creativity. In every room that was occupied we would be welcomed in a friendly manner and all our questions were answered patiently. Eating and drinking was good and had no end.

Great space to spend the day writing or planning with groups. Coffee, tea, water and soda and wifi all included in the entry charge. Buffet also on offer with a nice veggie selection. Each floor offers something different. Staff is always friendly, inviting, helpful with questions and English speaking. Not a smoker so it's easy to notice the lingering smoke smell from the second floor cabins.

I was completely satisfied. The staff was very friendly and took good care of the guests. The brunch was very good there was a large selection. There was food and drink as much as you wanted .. In the house much could be discovered ... The terrace is also very worth seeing.

It is a nice little hip place with a particular "zing"... to it.. urban graffiti style. However it is quiet, relaxed and has some nice terraces.

Very unusual concept for lovers of the alternatives. A meeting place for young and old. There is something to see on every corner, and even the cheapest restaurant concept is completely convincing.

You can brunch well here, just have a coffee, watch artists, talk, hold meetings, spend the night, have a beer, celebrate ... Say: a lot is possible. A great location, the food is good, the service as well. Highly recommended!

The worst food that I have ever tasted, the service is also so bad. The drinks are also bad, We paid for nothing. It was such a bad experience that I would never repeat it again.

Great quality all you can eat brunch on the weekends 10-4pm, quite expensive but well worth the money. Don't forget to clean up after yourself and place your plates on the trolleys.

Great ambience, delicious food, nice people! Bring time so you can marvel at everything from the roof to the basement! On each floor there is a large selection of drinks from elderberry to cola, all incl. Large roof terrace with beautiful views ??????

With many creative details, the Unperfekthaus creates a special working atmosphere that invites you to think about and think ahead. Bitcoin vending machine, art gallery and delicious lunch buffet are three examples of how technology, art and pleasure come together. Very inspiring!

Still an exciting place to find something different on every floor, even after 15 years. Who would have thought at the time that an innovative place would come from a monastery? And chill out on the roof terrace, great! Nevertheless, I deduct one point because the house is only suitable for wheelchair users, which is a shame for me personally.

Unperfecthouse is not unperfect.

Nice food, good office spaces.

Really cool place to spend a weekend evening with friends. You can bring some board games and use any of the space provided. There is also a small auditorium and a gallery which makes the place even more interesting. The only thing I didn't like here were the sodas - probably some low quality alternatives to major brands which taste way too sweet. Otherwise this place is great!

The place to be.

To be honest, I've seen such a space for creativity for a long time. Respect! I was so excited and felt so comfortable. Too bad I did not know that until yesterday. And in June, you already have 15 years! Real, hats off for the founder. And all private. There are, to be honest, people who not only see the money in the world, to create a beautiful space for the creative, to be free, to talk, to meet nice people, etc. Such an imperfect house would actually need every city! You really have to create a network for more such great places. Become more often with you from now on! And anyone who does not know that, 100% worth a visit, but take your time because it's just beautiful and forget the time! Again my full respect and thanks to the founder Reinhard Wiesemann !!!

Amazing and diverse place with lots to check out, nice people to meet and fun programs to attend. Lots of rooms are open for the public (as indicated by the green sign next to it) and I've met lots of talented people while checking out amazing creations.

Not so nice

What a wonderful place. Whether you are looking for inspiration, a place for lunch or a place do work and meet, the Unperfekthaus is the perfect place to do so in Essen. I've visited it multiple times, and each time was a joy. Lot's of space to sit, pull out your laptop and do some work, but also a nice restaurant area, art spaces and even a hotel. Right nextdoor to the huge Limbecker Platz shopping mall, there's enough parking space, albeit paid, but it's also a nice short walk from the Essen main train station. I did both.

Uph manages to deliver an incredible and unqiue experience with every visit. My favorite place in Essen.
